Banta Announces Fire, EMS Grants Awarded

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jake Banta (R-Erie) announced today that over $340,000 was awarded to local Fire and Emergency Services in the 4th Legislative District.
“These grants help support our local heroes,” shared Banta. “Without our Fire and EMS companies, many of whom serve as volunteers, our community would not be the same. These grants are essential to continuing and upgrading services.”
Fire and EMS companies in the 4th Legislative District received a total of more than $344,600.
Fire Companies received a total of more than $194,600.
• $12,663 - A F Dobler Hose and Ladder
• $13,309 - City of Corry Fire Department
• $25,739 - Corry Regional Fire Company, DBA Stanford
• $12,018 - Crescent Hose Company
• $15,461 - Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department
• $12,663 - Elgin Beaver Dam Hose Company
• $12,448 - Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department
• $14,170 - Fuller Hose Company No 1
• $12,448 - Greenfield Township Volunteer Fire Company
• $12,879 - Lake City Fire Company
• $12,233 - Platea Volunteer Fire Company Inc.
• $12,879 - Stancliff Hose Company
• $13,739 - Union City Volunteer Fire Department
• $12,018 - Wattsburg Hose Company
Ten EMS companies each received a $15,000 grant for a total of $150,000: A F Dobler Hose and Ladder; Central Erie County Paramedic Association Inc.; Crescent Hose Company; Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department; Lake City Fire Company; Mill Village Volunteer Fire Company; Stancliff Hose Company; Union City Volunteer Fire Company; Wattsburg Hose Company; and West County Paramedic Association.
