Banta to Host Senior Expo

ERIE – In an effort to connect older residents with the programs and services that work best for them, Rep. Jake Banta (R-Erie) will host his Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 18, at the Corry Community Center.

The free expo, which will be open from 10 a.m. to noon, is catered toward seniors 60 years of age and older, their families and their caregivers.

A variety of vendors, including senior services organizations and local and state government agencies, will share valuable information about programs and resources available to older residents. Health screenings will also be offered.

“There are so many great services available to our seniors, from programs relating to healthcare and insurance to financial planning and fraud protection,” Banta said. “My goal with this senior expo is to bring all of those resources into one convenient place and remind older residents what programs are available to them.”

The Corry Community Center is located at 15 S. First Ave. in Corry.
